SG-1 S10 Casting Spoiler Update...

paian and katie_m for pointing to this (do not click if you are avoiding spoilers for S10 -- even the link text is a spoiler, that's why it's beneath the cut!) -- what seems to be more info on additional Casting Spoiler appearences in S10.
Well, there's been much speculation as to what RDA's second SG-1 episode would be. Apparently...

"In a new interview with TV Guide, SG-1 co-star Amanda Tapping revealed that, in Anderson's second appearance, "Something happens to Daniel. That's all I can tell you. Otherwise, I'd have to shoot you." "
So this very much sounds, as Gateworld notes, like it's either "The Shroud" (in which the team finds out - SHOCKINGLY! - that Daniel has become a Prior), or else perhaps a follow-up ep to that one. I include the last as a possibility because to the best of my knowledge, we do not know yet whether Daniel's "condition" will be discovered and resolved within the same ep, or whether it will arc over several eps. Therefore, that would make it possible, I think, to have Jack in a follow-up ep -- for example, if The Shroud is about going and discovering Daniel, but subsequent eps are required to get him back to Earth and de-Priored, possibly that's where Jack comes in. Who knows?
I love this idea. I think a bunch of people mentioned it hopefully back when we found out the spoilers about Daniel becoming a Prior. So all of my remaining fingers and toes are crossed that if this is so (and it sounds like it probably is), that Jack's involvement will be BIG and MEATY and a major part of saving Daniel (rather than, I dunno, some cameo in which Jack is in the Pentagon taking a phonecall to keep him apprised).
