I realized after thinking about it that when I was in the kitchen earlier, there was what I thought was like a gnat or little fruit fly or something buzzing near my right eye and then my shoulder/upper chest, and I kind of batted it and tried to smush it against my chest. I didn't see further evidence of it.

I think it was actually a very small spider that I happened to walk into while it was dropping down from the ceiling, and I didn't actually smush it, so it remained on my chest until a few minutes later when I felt it crawling down my cleavage. And I looked down (as I'm wearing a tank top) and saw it was a tiny spider. Whereupon it REALLY got smushed.

And now you know.

(And knowing is half the battle.)

Me, that would be the day I threw out my toothbrush and skipped brushing my teeth that one day, until I bought a new one. If, that is, I couldn't deal with it by FLICKING it off really hard.

Telepresence, above, had an encounter once where he discovered a thousand-legger on his bath-towel when he emerged from the shower in the morning (I think). To this day, I do not take my bath towel or robe off the hook without giving it a vigorous shake before bringing them anywhere near my body.

Yes, long before it was in my mouth. Spider died, brush was thrown out. I think I used my finger to swipe some toothpaste on my teeth that night.

I check my bathroom and towels before my showers. And I check the bedroom ceiling at night before I go to bed. CONSTANT VIGILANCE! :)
