Yeah. His sister, who works with him, is looking for him. It sounds like he hasn't been seen at work, his home phone isn't being answered (not unusual), and his cellphone goes directly to voicemail when you dial it (kind of unusual).
Okay... good, I think. Well, we'll see. See what I replied to John above, though. If he doesn't show to that, please update me, and I can let his sister know?
Okay -- he's fine, but he's home sick. (And everyone at his workplace are MORONS; but I think we knew that.)
However, I didn't get a sense of whether he was expecting to show up to gaming tonight or not. He mentioned that he hasn't been online at ALL -- not even to send emails or to get any emails. So. You know.
Yeah, I saw him on the 4rth, too...so Bryant's is most recent. This is the sort of thing that really scares me...please post something when you find him, eh?
In some ways, this experience has proven that you're not allowed to be a hermit in these modern times. At least, not without checking in with folks electronically daily, if not hourly.
I was sick. I dropped a message off for my boss, which he apparently never got. He admitted to being in meetings all day most days. My cellphone was also not working, because it was being switched this week from my boss's really old phone, which I'd gone to after mine was stolen, to my boss's most recently abandoned phone. After the theft, the idea was, I'd take his really old broken phone until he upgraded to a new one, at which point I'd get the one he upgraded from. He upgraded last week, and I was supposed to be switched. Well, the switchover didn't go well, and all people went directly to voice mail, while I thought I had a working cell.
I had a massive headache, so I mostly just sat around and tried to sleep, and even the idea of going near a computer was hateful. When the home phone rang, I usually woke up and got it, thanks to irritating headache. I was out at the Boston Medical Center twice for doctor visits and blood draws. I have since discovered my sister called during one of those. I called her back at her home phone one night when I discovered this, got my nephew, but he didn't pass on my message. That was partially my fault, as I'd planned to call back, but didn't until after she'd already gone to bed.

(* and yes, I realize the irony of me making that statement is amusing)
