Who comments? Meme

"A lot of people", apparently. More than actually have me friended, which is a little odd if you ask me...

I don't find it that freaky that one is always the one who comments the most in one's journal. I think that makes perfect sense, if you're the type of person who feels they ought to answer just about every comment that anyone else makes in your LJ. I do find it interesting that, based on the admittedly miniscule sample size I've seen (... a grand total of 3 people doing this so far), "people" (meaning, the three of us) seem to account for roughly 1/3rd of the comments in their own journal. (I might have expected that to be half.)

Date: 2008-01-15 03:40 am (UTC)I do try to comment if possible, in other people's journals if I have them friended. Some stuff in your journal I wouldn't even know what to comment about, like the hockey or Stargate stuff. Not that I'm not interested, I just don't know what to say. :D I do read though.

Also, you're right, makes sense to me too about the person being their own most commenter.

Date: 2008-01-15 03:16 pm (UTC)I remember trying the comment-stats thing once and being really bewildered by the results. Something about them seemed impossibly far off base from what I'd observed. But I can't remember now what it was. Gotta try it again.
eta: Now that I think about it, I remember it was the LJ-Archive plug-in's results that had me scratching my head, not the one you used.
