You would think, wouldn't you, that what with Senator Kerry from Massachusetts getting involved, and the NFL knuckling under and agreeing to simulcast tonight's Patriots/Giants game on all three networks (CBS, NBC, ABC) as well as on the NFL network, that I, a Boston-area resident, would have no trouble watching the game. You'd think that, wouldn't you?

*bitter laughter*

Those three channels -- AND ONLY THOSE THREE -- won't come in. All I get is heavily pixellated crap and no audio.

Call Comcast? They apparently can't even tell there's a problem. It does seem suspicious that it's only those three channels that are fucked up. But then, what do I know? Maybe nobody else is having any problem at all. But that still doesn't make any sense; the reception of every other channel I get is just fine.

(To whine a bit more... no, I really don't feel confident about trying to rewire my entire cable set-up to try to trouble-shoot this while the game is ticking away. And anyway, I'd been trying to TiVo the game to watch LATER, I didn't want to watch it live. It just so happened that I tried to tune in for the opening kick-off.)

**HATE**

Sounds like you need to go to a Local Neighborhood Bar. Like Cheers(tm) :-)

If it's any consolation, we're getting it threeways, and in HDTV too :-(

Ack, I hate it when the cable company cheerfully says that there's 'nothing wrong'. *hugs*
