Dec. 16th, 2007 10:56 amThey SAID that we were supposed to get maybe an inch of snow overnight, and then it'd turn to sleet and then to rain later (it seems to be 32 now, maybe a little colder where I am; supposed to get to about 40). Maybe the latter is true, we'll see, but: check it out, I think that's a bit more than "an inch" that we've gotten so far.

Note: I live on a fairly busy main street. That's how not-clear and empty it is. It's true that it's stopped snowing now, inasmuch as what is now falling is tiny ice pellets. Joy. And man, it's blowing! Fortunately, it really does seem like nearly everyone has gotten the memo not to go outside. I'm sure not going anywhere!

Date: 2007-12-16 04:18 pm (UTC)If it really does get up to 40 degrees and rains for a significant period of time, I don't know WHAT we're going to end up with... and I don't really know what I should plan to do. When to go out and shovel? "Warm" rain would maybe wash away a lot... but it'd also turn the snow into something really waterlogged and heavy. Ugh.

Date: 2007-12-16 06:58 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, it's a little too strong. Maybe should've went with a shiraz or merlot instead of cabernet savignion.
