Hello again, flist! I'm back from NZ (had a fantastic time; eventually, I'll post some pics and stuff). I can't get a really accurate reading on it, but it looks like my flist is at *least* "friends?skip=1200", which means -- no WAY am I catching up entirely.

Hmm. You mostly missed wanks of various types. The most important one is likely what's been referred to as Boldthrough 2007--you got that one, right? Check lj_biz for the most recent update.

Oh and MsScribe came back, made a public statement, got wanked to hell. That was amusing.

The markets collapsed because all the banks dishing out subprime loans went broke, and of course they're going to be bailed out on the taxpayer's dollar, just like the S&L scandal twenty years ago... go figure. Also, at least a dozen GOP politicians (including Hassert & Rove) suddenly called it quits.

I have a new installment on my blog for cocktail recipes, and it looks like we'll be getting a W/D hookup in our basement. The plumber was absolutely shocked at what a mess the drain pipe is. This would explain why the kitchen sink and the upstairs bathroom take forever to drain.

Christ, really? That all happened last week? Looks like I picked a hell of a time to go on a news embargo- I've stopped listening to NPR during my commute and have been listening to my iPod. I now feel horribly, horribly out of touch.
