I've been meaning to ask you to explain where this little ermine and all your icons come from.

D'oh, I'm a dummy. Actually, it looks dark blue to me! It looks black to you?

The ermine is from an anime series called Siawasesou no Okojosan (Mr. Ermine's Happy Mansion is the translation, I think.) There were about 6 episodes, 15 minutes each, floating around fansubbed. A friend downloaded them and gave them to me, and I was enthralled with them.

The ermine escapes from an exotic animal pet store and tries to make a break for freedom. He doesn't do so well in the city, and a college student finds him and takes him in. The ermine, who acquires the name Kojopy, promptly takes over the student's apartment and declares it his own territory. The little brown mouse guy is Kojopy's "servant" (he's another pet in the apartment building.) Kojopy then goes on to have many adventures in the apartment building. Unfortunately, like I said, I have only the first 6 episodes and there are over 30 as far as I know. If you'd like to see the ones I have, I can send you a copy. ;)

As for why I chose it, when I initially came on LJ I was very paranoid about being watched and people knowing who I was, so I chose this name and theme so people wouldn't know who I was. I've relaxed a bit, though. :D
