RDA's new look (& cavorting with seals)
Mar. 9th, 2005 10:22 amBroken ankle and all, RDA recently participated in a Sea Shepherd protest event (it's a conservation group he belongs to that, among other things, protests the killing of baby seals - see the What's New section off the main page of www.rdanderson.com for full explanation and links to press releases and stuff) that had him hobbling around on the pack-ice, mingling with harp seal babies. And as he always does between seasons (except this time it's not "between" seasons for him, is it? *sob*), he's let his hair grow out:

ETA: (I am putting the URL back in, as I am having NOTHING BUT TROUBLE creating a viable hotlink today, apparently. It works for me, but isn't working for others, or the text-link above gives you a "forbidden" message when you click it, then actually shows you the pictures when you hit refresh, and.... GREMLINS! GREMLINS IN MY LJ! AAAARRRGH.
If nothing else, just go to www.rdanderson.com, and click on What's New.
Lord knows I adore RDA, and this could hardly be cuter, although I have to say that I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt in regards the long-hair look; I will save final judgement until I get to see some pic where he doesn't have parka-head. My goodness, he's such a hippie.

BTW, I couldn't link directly to the images, I had to cut and paste the URL--I guess they've disabled hot-linking?

Date: 2005-03-09 07:56 am (UTC)Hmm. It's hard to explain. He always looks good. There's times when goofy stuff happens with his head, and then, he looks *cute*. Touseled is, absolutely, cute as a button. But for *me*, there are certain hair choices that are *hotter* than others... but that has nothing to do with whether it's messy or not. (I think some of his hottest looks are when his hair is *just* that length where it can get optimally tufty.)
Linking -- um, no. It's working as a hot-link for *me*. That's weird. Maybe it's my layout or something?

Date: 2005-03-09 08:10 am (UTC)Oh yes. There's a certain level of touseled that makes it look like Daniel has just had his way with him. *g* At a certain point, it graduates to 'floppy', and that's just silly. Cute and silly. IMHO, of course.
I'm with you on the tufty.

Date: 2005-03-09 10:29 am (UTC)And these pics make me think that's true, but while he's cute *in* the pics, I don't think they're the best possible pics of the longer-hair-look at its best. Cause, you know, parka-head. *snerk*
And bottom line, I think I prefer tufty to floppy. As a gut-feeling of hotness.
