eregyrnSciFi-wire and Gateworld have both put up additional info about S9 Cast Addition, regarding what kind of character is being added. No name yet, though. And no word I can find on the signing of other regulars.

Gateworld article (had a spoiler in the *link*! Geez! But has less info than the SciFi piece).
Not as wacky or creative an idea as many proposed by fans in the past week. But I'm willing to see what they do with it. Making him the *same* rank as Sam is... interesting. Also makes me wonder what's going on with AT, although Ron Cooper mentions Carter, so... hmm. The idea of making him someone "known" is also kind of interesting, and I'm curious to see how they do that.
Hmm. At what point will we be able to stop considering the mere identity of the Cast Addition a spoiler, do you figure?
