If my life resembles that of any TV character, I don't know which it would be. Probably one on some sitcom that I am not watching. Because quirky, bohemian, old-maid-ish, heroic administrative assistants are not thick on the ground on the kinds of shows I watch.

I should also clarify that Daniel Jackson has my dream job, EXCEPT for the angst and the dying parts. Mostly I would like to get paid to travel to exotic places and to be an intellectual magpie charged with analyzing evidence, spouting theories, and keeping others informed and/or bored regarding cultural details that I find both fascinating and important. And while I couldn't do the languages part of his job AT ALL, most of the time he doesn't have to either, since apparently nearly everybody in both the Milky Way and the Pegasus galaxies speaks English. So there.

I'll take that as a complement. As you remember I used to say when we lived together, "Today the part of Will Truman will be played by Bill Brickman."

Not that it particularly makes you like Grace. Well, except for the fashionista thing.

Well, duh. That's how I know I'd rather spend the day with Will than with any of the others. In the same way, if the question were, "Which of the Fab Five would you rather spend the day with", no question, Ted wins, hands down.

Am a bit disturbed at the idea that I'm at all like Grace, though.
