Hey, I work in a folklore office. Give me a break. The book is, of course: Alien Kind: Foxes and Late Imperial Chinese Narrative, by Rania Huntington. This book was sitting on top of a Hawaiian Dictionary, which would have been interesting to try this exercise with.
None of you asked, but the Canucks handily won their first playoff game against the Calgary Flames last night. Go Canucks!
